Pat Johnston, Co. Fermanagh
Pat is a part time farmer, but is keen to improve the quality of his suckler herd. Pat works as a craftsman in Belleek Pottery. He is the current chairman of M.E.D. Partnership.
John Barron, Co. Donegal
John is a founder member and former chairman of M.E.D. Partnership. John is a full-time suckler cow farmer. Present county secretary I.C.S.A., past member of Macra Na Feirme at county and national level.
Francis Flanagan, Co. Fermanagh
Francis is a founder member of MED. Francis is a self-employed Steel Fabricator and part-time farmer. He keeps a suckler herd with some calf to beef as the main enterprise. He is currently joint treasurer of M.E.D.
Gerard Ferguson, Co. Donegal
Gerard is self-employed as a jeweller at Ferguson’s Jewellers on Castle Street, Ballyshannon and is a part time farmer. Gerry, a joint treasurer of the group has always been very interested in promoting agriculture in the region and is actively involved in Ballyshannon Livestock Sales and Ballyshannon Show Society.
Jeremy McGonigle, Co. Donegal
Jeremy is a founder member of MED, Jeremy is a Sales Director while part-time farming in Pedigree Charolaois/Angus Cattle
Molly Reynolds, Co. Donegal
Molly is a founder member of Creevy & District Community Development Co-op, Ltd., and was it’s first manager. She is currently Company Secretary and a board member. Creevy & District Co-Op has successfully developed tourism and water sports in the local area, with the goal of bringing about regeneration of this rural coastal community and the provision of employment in the locality. A well known community activist, Molly is presently a board member of the following active Community Groups and Partnerships:

Jim Brennan, Co. Sligo
Jim is a part-time sheep farmer and former building site foreman in England, Germany, Czechoslovakia and Poland. At present he is also a part-time building worker. He farms 18 Hectares at Tawley, Co. Leitrim, and is the Leitrim Representative on the IFA Rural Development Committee. One of his passions is gaelic games and he is actively involved with the local GAA Club. His interests include football, hurling and pub quizzes. He was recently elected Chairperson of MED Partnership.
Hugh Gillespie, Co. Donegal
Hugh has been secretary of MED Partnership Group for a number of years. He is a fishery protection officer and part time farmer.
Robert Ovens, Co. Fermanagh Robert is a full time farmer in Co. Fermanagh. He is a MED Committee Member and PRO for N. Ireland.
