Course:   Certificate in Leadership & Management

Aim:        This ILM Certificate in Leadership & Management is ideal for new and already developing managers who require leadership training. Participants will learn the core skills and understanding needed to deal with management responsibilities and develop as leaders, helping them to grow in their position with confidence.

Course:   Next Generation Bootcamp

Date:      February 13th, March 13th, April 10th , May 8th, June 12th & July 10th (6-days) 8.45am-1.00pm

Aim:        Who is/are the future of your business? Your managers, family members or other key employees?

Aim:        The aim of this Manual Handling Instructor course is to equip the learner with the knowledge, skill and

competence to effectively design and deliver manual handling instruction in the workplace.

Course:    Professional Trainer Skills Certificate QQI Level 6

Aim:        This QQI course will provide the skills, insight and knowledge to manage training and development in a

professional manner. The Training Course will develop an awareness of the context for training and

Course:   Presentation Skills & General Media Management

Aim:        This one-day course delivery by Micheal O’Domhnaill, enables people to deliver oral presentations in public whilst encouraging workshop              participants to identify key challenges and areas of concern when speaking in front of others.
Develop coping strategies to enable you to think on your feet during presentations and outline guidelines in terms of good presentation preparation.
Participants will identify the tools available to help during your presentation and visualize how you appear to others; create a positive response to challenging questions; record and analyse your performance in front of your peers, customers or the media.

 

Course:   Supervisory Management (one-day)

Date:      January 2018  9.30am-5.00pm

Aim:        This one-day workshop is for people who are new supervisors or who are interested in a supervisory position, as well as those who are lead hands or part-time supervisors/team leaders without a great deal of authority. This workshop is designed to help participants overcome many of the supervisory problems they will encounter in a clear and practical manner. Dealing with the many problems a new supervisor encounters isn’t easy, but it doesn’t have to lead to discouragement.

Hotel Revenue and Digital Media Management

This programme aims to equip learners to be competent in the management of pricing, revenue and the online digital environment, for the hospitality industry.

Quality Assurance and Food Regulatory Affairs

The Management of Food Hygiene is a necessary qualification for all senior chefs, irrespective of the industry (hotels, restaurants, cafés, commercial catering, contract catering, hospital and school catering).  All chefs need to undertake refresher courses, and a new element of assessment (apart from the exam) is a project.  This extended module prepares participants for both the exam and the project.

Course:   Chainsaw Maintenance & Operations 2-day QQI L5 Course

Aim:        This course is designed to create a safety awareness on the use of chainsaws, it does not attempt to train participants to fell trees. It is specifically geared towards the farming sector.

Date:         January 29th – Monday and Wednesday evenings per week for 10 weeks, 6.30-9.30pm –

The course includes the layout of a welding plant, types of joints, weld variations and welding technology. This course is not suitable for people with deficient eyesight.
