Rural Enterprise Skillnet Announce up to 25% Funding Boost for Rural Business Training

Rural Enterprise Skillnet announce up to 25% funding boost for rural business training costs through their 2014 training programme.

The Rural Enterprise Skillnet project has been awarded €135,000.00 funding from the Department of Education and Skills under the training networks programme.

Investment in training can add value and profitability to your businesses enterprise and attendance at our training events provides opportunities for information exchange with like minded business.

The Rural Enterprise Skillnet Training Programme is promoted by the MED Partnership Group, Ballyshannon, and is specially designed to support enterprise led training. Under the current model the network can offer up to 25% grant support towards the cost of training for sole traders or companies who wish to up skill their work force . The training programme offers both accredited  and non accredited training across a range of sectors and includes Chainsaw Operation & Forestry Skills,  Farmer friendly accounts , Farmer friendly computer training, Bovine Genetics in the suckler herd,  Sheep Shearing (City & Guilds), Basic Farm Safety, , Soil Nutrient management. We can also support training in the Health care and Leisure sectors. The training is adapted to suit the needs of the participant and offered in a variety of formats to maximise learning for the participant.
